3核心概念
① 比較級是什麼？
當我們要比較「兩個人、事、物」時，用比較級加上 than：
• My brother is taller than me.（我弟弟比我高）
• This book is more interesting than that one.（這本書比那本有趣）

② 短形容詞加 -er，長形容詞用 more
• 短形容詞（多為單音節）：加 -er → tall → taller、fast → faster、old → older。
• 長形容詞（多為三音節以上）：前面加 more → beautiful → more beautiful、interesting → more interesting。
• 部分雙音節字（-y、-le、-ow 結尾）通常加 -er：happy → happier、simple → simpler、narrow → narrower。
• 短形容詞（多為單音節）：加 -er → tall → taller、fast → faster、old → older。
• 長形容詞（多為三音節以上）：前面加 more → beautiful → more beautiful、interesting → more interesting。

💡 少數字兩種都有人用（如 clever → cleverer / more clever、polite → politer / more polite），意思相同。不確定時，字短用 -er、字長用 more 是最安全的原則。

規則④ 副詞比較級
Tom runs faster than his brother.

文法分析：fast 是形容詞與副詞同形，比較級加 -er → faster，修飾動詞 runs。

Amy 英文說得比我流利。
文法分析：fluently 是 -ly 副詞，多用 more + 原級 → more fluently（early → earlier 是例外）。

6正確 vs. 錯誤比較
釐清比較級最常見的錯誤：重複比較、拼字錯誤、不規則沒背、用 very 修飾比較級。
❌ This box is more heavier than that one.
錯誤原因：more 與 -er 同時使用會造成重複比較；heavy 的比較級是 heavier。
⭕ This box is much heavier than that one.
強調程度用 much + 比較級 heavier。

錯誤原因：在本課的比較句中，有 than 就要用比較級 taller，不用原級 tall。
